Q. HOW OFTEN DO I REALLY NEED TO WAX MY CAR?
A.
We recommend that you wax your vehicle at least four time a year, this will
ensure that your paint finish stays protected from the elements year round. If
you live near the ocean, you should consider a wax service every two months.
If you wax your vehicle on a quarterly basis, your paint finish will literally
NEVER age.

Q. CAN TREE SAP REALLY HURT MY CAR'S PAINT?
A. FACT: Tree sap can permanently damage your paint finish. Tree sap must
first harden and cure before it permanently scars your paint. In most cases
you will be safe to let it stand until your next wash. Avoid parking your
car under pine trees, as pine sap can and will eat straight through
wax, paint, even clear down to the primer if allowed to cure.
Tip: Lacquer thinner will safely remove uncured tree sap from nearly all cured paint
finishes. Test a small inconspicuous place first ,such as under the wheel well
to make sure that no harm will come to your paint. Pour a generous amount
of thinner on a soft towel, (preferably a micro fiber towel) and gently rub the
soaked cloth over the sap. Let the thinner do the work - do not press down
hard on the towel. The thinner should remove the sap easily in just a few
strokes.
NEVER TRY TO REMOVE HARDENED TREE SAP WITH YOUR
FINGERNAIL!
You may get the sap off but you will also definitely scratch your paint. If you
know that you have tree sap on your vehicle, and would rather not deal with it
yourself, call us. We will get you tree sap free in no time and put a fresh coat
of Carnuba wax on your vehicle.

Q. WHAT CAN I DO TO MAKE MY CARPETS LAST LONGER?
A. We strongly recommend that all of our customers have floor mats to
protect and extend the life of their carpets. Floor mats made by your
vehicle's manufacturer are generally contoured to fit your car and can
cover as much as 95% of the surface area of your carpets.
Floor mats are your first line of defense to keep your carpets in top
condition. Replacing worn automotive carpets can be expensive.
Worn floor mats, however, can be replaced at relatively little cost.
Floor mats save your carpets, save you money, and help keep the
resale value of your car at a premium.

Q. I SPILLED GRAPE JUICE IN MY CAR AND CAN'T GET THE
STAIN OUT, WHAT CAN I DO?
A. Unfortunately there are some types of stains that are permanent. Coffee,
some juices and red-colored beverages can leave a permanent stain in your
carpet and upholstery. These beverages go into the pores of the fabric and
literally re-dye the material.
TIP: With these types of spills, DON'T WAIT! Soak a small towel with cool clean
water and rub the spill until it is no longer visible. After that, call us and have
your carpets and upholstery professionally cleaned to remove any residual
spillage that may reappear once the material has dried.

Q. I washed my car at home and noticed that there were
blemishes on my paint after I washed off bird droppings,
Please help?
A. Bird droppings can be a death sentence to your paint finish! Bird dropping are
highly acidic. The acid in the droppings eat into the clear coat and "etches"
a blemish mark into the paint. Depending on how deep into the clear coat the
acid has gone the blemish may not be able to be removed by machine
polishing (buffing).
On a sunny day, bird droppings can leave a permanent stain in your paint in
as little as 3 to 6 hours!
Tip: There are two things that you can do to minimize the
potential damage posed by the affect of an acid stain
caused by bird droppings:
1. Keep a small bottle of water and a soft towel under your seat or in your
trunk. When you first notice the droppings on your paint, DON'T WAIT !
Pour some water on your towel and some on the droppings. Allow the
droppings a minute to soften from the water and then wipe them
completely off. Make sure that the paint is perfectly clear and does not
have the slightest haze or filmy appearance, as this indicates that there is
still some residue left on your paint. Even the smallest amount of residue
can damage your paint.
2. A Teflon sealant treatment to your paint finish will, in most cases, prevent
bird dropping from penetrating your paint finish.
Many car dealerships offer a protective coating that will protect your paint
against such things as bird droppings and acid rain etc. The dealerships
charge anywhere from $600.00 to $ 900.00 for this service. Teflon
coatings go by various names such as: "ARMOR GUARD" "DIAMOND
PROTECTION" etc.
These products are all essentially the same. They are "TEFLON BASED
PRODUCTS"
Teflon sealant products protect your paint better than wax because the
molecules of Teflon are bonded closer together than those of wax and
even your paint. Because of this molecular density the Teflon coats your
paint with a nearly impervious shell of protection.
Perfection detail, offers a quality Teflon sealant treatment for 75% less
than the dealerships. Our Teflon treatment starts out at only $145.00 !
